The Bobcat Tier 4 loaders now include the new Bobcat engine which meets Tier 4 requirements. The Bobcat engines include a non-diesel particulate filter (non-DPF) engine solution where a filter is not used. In addition to eliminating the need for a DPF, the new engines used in Bobcat Tier 4 loaders will have 4 to 12 percent increase in torque. This increase in torque is produced over a wide range of engine rpm, allowing operators of all skill levels to better utilize the machines maximum performance.
